Alexander the Great, as he was known, won battle after battle. He wanted to bring the entire known world under his rule. But he died an untimely death at a young age. Before he died he told his attendants to put both his hands outside the coffin. He said: “Let the world know that Alexander the Great brought nothing into this world when he came and took nothing from this world when he left.”
