Shiny was very interested in leading Differently Abled children to the Lord. She frequented the Home of Differently Abled Children in her town and regularly preached the Good news to them. One day a lady said Shiny was wasting her time. Mentally Retarded children could never understand salvation.
Shiny was very discouraged. That day in the Home she taught the children a song. She would show them her left three centre fingers as the three crosses and sing:
One, two, three, Jesus loves me; The One in the middle He died for me.
So singing she would clutch the left middle finger with her right hand. She told the children to hold on to Jesus like that.
Back at home in the night she thought about the children and prayed that they would understand.
The next morning her telephone jangled. There was a fire in the Home and thirty three children were charred to death. Shiny’s heart broke. She rushed to the Home. The Lord comforted her broken heart. How? When she saw the bodies, the children were clutching their left middle finger with their right hand!
Who can go to heaven? God has no partiality. Boy or girl, rich or poor, small sinner or great sinner, intelligent or unintelligent—anybody! All you have to do is to feel sorry for your sins and ask God’s forgiveness. The blood of Jesus Christ will clean you from all sin. Then live in obedience to the Bible. You are sure to go to heaven.
