Two monkeys stole some butter and had difficulty dividing it between them. So they went to the cat and asked him to divide the butter into two equal halves. The cat divided the butter between both his hands. He looked at his right hand and said, “My, my, the butter is a little more this side.” So saying he ate a little butter from the right hand. Then he looked at the left hand and said, “So sad, left hand has a little more.” Then he ate a bit from the left. Then he turned to the right. Alternatively he ate and finished up all the butter. The monkeys went away feeling sorry for themselves.
