Two thieves entered a house to steal. They killed the house- owner and proceeded to pack the cash. But it was early morning and the milkman knocked at the door. Both the thieves were frightened. One got up on the loft and hid himself while the other hid under the cot.
When there was no response, the milk man pushed open the door. He saw the owner lying in a pool of blood and was shocked. He spread both his hands towards heaven and said, “Only the One above knows what happened.” He then went away. People came one by one and spread their hands towards heaven and said the same thing, “Only the One above knows what happened.” A crowd gathered. The thief on the loft got irritated. He shouted at the crowd and said, “How do you people say only the one above knows? There is one fellow under the cot. He also knows everything.” The people caught the thieves and handed them over to the police.
Sin will betray you. Beware!
