When I started writing stories, my idea was to write 365 stories—one a day for a year. But I ran out of steam after 213 stories. When the first volume of 100 stories reached people I thought they would think I had backslidden. But the response was too good, beyond my expectation. Children started calling me to say, “I have come up to this story.” A little boy said, “Granny, I have read all the stories. You said you are doing another book of stories. Please finish it and send it soon.” A 67 year old brother said, “I wondered why they sent me a children’s book. But when I started reading it I got immersed in it. I’m just waiting for my children and grandchildren to read it.” A headmistress phoned and said that they are reading one story a day in their School Assembly. A brother wanted to make it into MP3. Another sister wanted permission to enact them. A family said they are using it for their family prayer. May God be glorified. Once again I want to confess that these stories are but a collection which, over the years, I have heard or read. God bless the original authors and all those who labored behind the curtain to bring my writings to book shape. Mrs. Thalitha Ebinesan who typed, Mr. Benedict who chose the pictures, and Mr. Selwyn who proofread are in particular stood with me as the book took shape. I especially thank all those who let me know how blessed they were by reading
