A soldier was running away to escape the chasing enemies. He saw a dilapidated building and ran inside to hide himself. He knew for sure the enemies would search the building, find him and kill him. He went inside a doorless room and hid himself and began to pray to God to protect him. A spider started spinning a web across the doorway. He thought, “Instead of sending my comrades to protect me, why has God sent a spider?”

Soon he heard footsteps. The enemies entered the building and searched. When they came to his room, he heard them say, “Oh, he’s not here. He couldn’t have gone inside without breaking the spider’s web.” So, they left.

Pray to God, and He will rescue you from any situation.
