Amma sent five year old Ramani to the shop to buy channa, because there was nobody else to go and the shop was very close. When she did not turn up on time mother was worried. She walked over to the shop and found it was closed. She found Ramani crying in the hands of an elderly gentleman at the end of the road.
When Ramani found the shop closed a man had told her that he would buy the channa for her and led her by the hand to the end of the road. There he had tried to remove her gold chain. When she started to cry he lifted her and started running. This gentleman stopped the man and he left her and escaped. So Ramani and her chain were safe.
Gold jewelry is out of fashion. Don’t go out with gold jewels. Do not go anywhere alone if you are too young. Be careful with strangers.
