Bobo the elephant and Topi the little bear started off to see the Zoo in the next town. Unfortunately they were late by five minutes and the train had left. Sadly they came to the main road and started begging for lift. A lorry driver stopped and picked them up. After about ten kilometers the lorry broke down. So Bobo and Topi decided to walk.
They had to go through a forest. Some jackals, foxes and hyenas started coming for them. Topi got frightened and climbed on Bobo. Bobo bravely kept chasing them with his trunk. At last they came to a river. How will we cross the river? They wondered. There came a beaver and they shared their concern with him. “Don’t worry” he said and cut off a tree for them. The tree fell across the river. Bobo and Topi thanked the beaver and crossed the river. They saw a crowd of people at a distance entering the Zoo. Their friends were there and happy to see Bobo and Topi. Bobo said, “If we had sat in the train and reached here, we would have lost a lot of fun; we had an adventurous trip.” Their friends enjoyed as they listened to their trip.
If we pass through life uneventfully like a train journey, it is boring. But God takes us through ups and downs, dangers and difficulties to show us His mighty hand. We will praise God when we reach heaven.
