A lazy man was wandering without a bath and smelling badly. He was hungry. He saw an old lady carrying food in a basket and begged for food. When she noticed his dirty appearance she said, “See the river close by? Go, have a bath and come. I will keep food ready for you.”
The man was too lazy to go to the river. He said, “God’s word cleanses me, says the Bible. So that cleanliness is enough for me. Give me food.” The old lady said, “Very well. The Bible also says that God’s word is food for us. So eat that food and go.”
The lazy will go hungry.
