Nambiraj was avaricious to get money but was too lazy to work. So he kept on praying. One day God appeared to him. Nambiraj said, “Lord, you are so powerful. For you Rs. 100 crores is nothing.” God said, “Yes, for me 100 crore rupees is like one paise.” “Oh my,” said Nambiraj; “then how much is thousand years for you?” God said, “Oh, thousand years is like a second for me.”
Nambiraj said, “Lord, can you give me one paise?” “Sure,” said God; “wait a second.”
