A man was walking through a maya bazaar. There he could exchange any of his things for anything he wanted. So he gave his wrist watch and got an expensive suit. Then he gave his belt and bought a suitcase.
He saw a shop which advertised BUY WHATEVER YOU WANT just for a pittance. He was curious. So he went in and asked for a mansion, a luxury car and a diamond necklace. “What do you want in exchange,” he asked. “Your soul,” came the reply. “Fine,” said the man. “What am I going to do with my soul? Take it.” So the shopkeeper took his soul and gave him all that he asked for. When he returned home he saw a mansion in the place of his modest house, a luxury car in the portico and his wife wearing a diamond necklace. He jumped with joy.
Two months passed happily. One day a man in black stood knocking at his door. “I have come to take you sir. I am Mr. Death,” he said. “To where?’’ he asked. “To hell, sir, because you have sold your soul.” “Please give me one day, I’ll buy my soul and come,” the man pleaded. “I will come tomorrow morning,” said Mr. Death and left.
The man ran to the shop and wept, “Give me back my soul, please. I will give you back all that you gave me.”
The shopkeeper roared with laughter. “Your soul belongs to me. You must come to my home, ha, ha, ha,” he laughed.
The man was returning home crying. A man saw him and asked for the reason and the man Neeraj explained to him all that happened. “Weep not,” said the man.
“I have the price for your soul,” he said, handing him over a bottle of blood. “How much shall I pay?” asked Neeraj. “It is free. But you must believe on the Lord Jesus Christ who died on a cross and shed this blood to save your soul and take you to heaven.” “I believe,” said the man, falling on his knees and confessing his sins and accepting Jesus as his Saviour.
He ran to the shop with the blood. The shopkeeper, satan, fled on seeing the blood. The man took back his soul and came home. There was a knock on the door next morning. A man in white stood there. “I am Mr. Life. I have come to take you to heaven.” The man said good-bye to his family and went happily with him.
“What good is it for one, to gain the whole world, yet lose his soul? Or what can a man give in exchange for his soul?”
