A man was walking on a road to the next village when it was raining. He saw a scorpion fallen in a pool of water. Wanting to save the creature he put forth his hand and lifted it out of the water. The scorpion stung his hand. The shocked man shook his hand and the scorpion fell in water once again. The man felt bad that the scorpion once again fell in water. He once again held out his hand for the scorpion to climb on. The scorpion climbed on and stung him once again. Again in pain he shook his hand and the scorpion fell again into the water.
When for the third time the man put out his hand for the scorpion, his friend remarked, “You know it stings. Then why do you want to help the scorpion?” The man replied, “What to do? To sting is the scorpion’s nature and to help is my nature.”
Even if people keep harming you, don’t get discouraged and stop helping them. Keep on helping them.
