A king wanted to sacrifice a goat. The goat that was tied up to a tree was bleating. The king asked the priest, “What is the goat saying?” The priest said, “The king is going to sacrifice me and I don’t want that, says the goat.” The king said, “Tell the goat that he can go straight to heaven if sacrificed.”

Hearing this the goat bleated even more loudly. “Why is the goat bleating so loudly?” asked the king. The priest said: “The goat says: I don’t want to go to heaven. Why can’t the king go to heaven?” Hearing this the king left off the idea of sacrificing the goat. Don’t do to others what you don’t want to do to yourself.
