Tommy, the rich man’s dog was haughty. He enjoyed tasty food, biscuits, people to pet him and regular visits to the vet. He went by car to places. Poor Jimmy was a mongrel. He even had no name till a petty shop owner called him Jimmy one day. He was unsure of his next meal, and had to cross the street amidst traffic. And all the stone throwing by children! Tommy would make fun of him and taunt him with cruel words, making Jimmy very sad. One day Tommy was tied outside. He saw a poisonous snake slide through the door inside the house. Tommy barked but he was tied. Jimmy saw the snake going in and rushed inside the house. The baby was asleep on the mat. Jimmy mauled the snake and carried him out in his mouth. A lady came from upstairs and saw Jimmy go out with the snake in his mouth. She patted Jimmy and from that day onwards kept Jimmy inside the house. Now he too goes by car. Never despise anyone.
