In a dense forest lived a father bear and baby bear. The baby bear was very fearful. The father bear wanted to cure him of his fear. He took him to the middle of the forest and tied his eyes with a cloth and said, “Sit here the whole night. Don’t fear and don’t remove your eye band. Morning I will come and open your eye band. Your fear will be gone.” The father’s footsteps faded and disappeared.
The baby was terrified but he sat there. He heard the elephants and the lions and trembled. “I will not fear,” he told himself and tried to be bold. Then he slept off. His eye band had fallen off. When He woke up, he saw his father sitting in front of him. Baby asked, “Papa, when did you come? Why did you leave me alone?” Father hugged him and said, “I didn’t go anywhere. I was sitting here all through the night. Have you come out of your fears?.” “Yes, Papa. Now I know you will never leave me alone,” said the baby.
Sometimes we feel God has left us. No. God is always with us, even though we may not be able to see Him.
