There was once a very naughty sheep. He hated being sheared. That year when the time for shearing was nearing, he slipped out of the crowd and hid in a cave. There he lived out of sight of anybody, coming out only in the night to graze.
What happened? His wool grew and grew and grew for 20 years. The sheep became unimaginably big due to the uncut wool. He had difficulty even to walk. Finally one day he staggered out and went to the shepherd. The surprised shepherd cut off his excess wool. Now the sheep could jump and skip and dance.
How we accumulate unwanted things all our life that ultimately choke us! Do not buy or hoard things you don’t need. Give it off to those who are in need and you’ll feel light and happy.
