An artist who loved Alexander the Great very much took great pains to draw his portrait. But the ugly scar in Alexander’s face marred the picture.
The artist took much effort to hide the scar by drawing the picture as if Alexander was in deep thought with his hand over his face. That covered the scar. When Alexander came to see his portrait, he asked the artist, “Where is my scar?” The artist replied, “My love for you has covered it.”
God’s love covers all our flaws.
