Saraswathi and Hema were thick friends. But in attitude both were opposites. Saraswathi was always thankful to God for whatever she had. Hema had the bad habit of complaining about everything.
One day both went to the birthday party of a friend. They were served cake and half a cup of Pepsi. Saraswathi took the paper cup, gave thanks to God and started drinking. She told Hema, “My parents never buy me Pepsi. It feels so good to drink half a cup of Pepsi.” Hema said, “My parents too don’t buy Pepsi and I was hoping to get a full cup. See what I’ve got, just half cup.”
Just then an auntie who was sitting near Saraswathi said, “I can’t drink Pepsi. I have sugar problem,” and poured her Pepsi into Saraswathi’s cup. Hema got up quickly when a friend came along, tripped and spilled her Pepsi all over her beautiful dress.
Be thankful to God for what you have and God will bless you more. Ungrateful people will lose their blessings.
